The Allen Bradley 1783-ETAP2F EtherNet/IP Tap module is designed to provide Device Level Ring (DLR) network connectivity for industrial EtherNet/IP systems. This compact tap module enables devices to be connected in a ring topology, improving network reliability and reducing downtime in automation environments.

The 1783-ETAP2F features two 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports and supports Device Level Ring protocol, allowing controllers, drives, and I/O modules to be integrated into a resilient industrial Ethernet network. In the event of a network break, the ring automatically reconfigures to maintain communication between devices.

This EtherNet/IP tap module is DIN rail mountable and designed for control panel installation. The unit includes LED status indicators for network monitoring and diagnostics.
