The Allen-Bradley 1769-SDN is a DeviceNet scanner module designed for CompactLogix and MicroLogix control systems. This module enables controllers to communicate with multiple DeviceNet field devices including distributed I/O, drives, sensors, and motor starters.

The 1769-SDN module functions as a DeviceNet master scanner and supports communication with up to 63 nodes on a single DeviceNet network. It provides selectable baud rates of 125 kbps, 250 kbps, and 500 kbps for flexible network performance based on application requirements.

This CompactLogix DeviceNet scanner includes diagnostic LED indicators for module status, network status, and communication health. The module is backplane powered and easily mounts into 1769 Compact I/O racks.
